This is a leadership role where you’ll set the technical and product direction, balancing hands-on engineering with strategic thinking. You’ll work closely with design, product, and backend engineers to create user experiences, help define best practices, mentor engineers, and make key decisions that influence the evolution of our product.

You

We’re looking for an experienced product-minded engineer who thrives in an environment where engineers have a strong voice in product decisions. You should have at least 6 years of experience in software engineering at a high-growth company or startup, along with:

Essentials:

• A product mindset—you think beyond just writing code and care about how users interact with what you build.
• Proven experience building and shipping scalable, high-performance applications, ideally with React and TypeScript.
• Deep knowledge of web performance optimization, UI responsiveness, testing, and best practices.
• Strong understanding of core browser and web technologies.

We’re looking for a Senior Applied Machine Learning Engineer to design and deploy intelligent systems to automate infrastructure workflows. You’ll work hands-on with cutting-edge technologies—LLMs, knowledge graphs, and advanced retrieval systems—to build scalable, agentic systems.

You’ll rapidly prototype, experiment, and take projects from concept to production. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about applied AI, this is the role for you.

You

As our next Senior Applied ML Engineer, you should have at least 5 years of experience in applied machine learning or a related role, preferably at a high-growth company, plus:

Essentials:

• Demonstrated ability to design and deploy large-scale information retrieval systems and/or search backends.
• Experience constructing and running evaluation pipelines.
• Proven experience pre-training language models and language modeling.
• Proficient in Python and Typescript, with experience using common ML libraries and data engineering tools.

Role

As a Systems Engineer at Antimetal, you will take ownership of the foundational systems that power our platform. Your focus will be on developing high-performance, low-level software that operates near the metal while building scalable and efficient infrastructure.

This role offers the opportunity to tackle complex technical challenges, from optimizing systems for performance and reliability to contributing to infrastructure provisioning and deployment. We are a small team, and you will play a key role in shaping our technology stack and driving its evolution.

As our next Systems Engineer, you should have at least 5 years of experience in systems engineering or a related role, preferably at a high-growth company, plus:

Essentials:

• Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining distributed systems and data pipelines.
• Proficient in a low-level systems programming language, such as C, C++, Go, or Rust.
• Experienced in containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (i.e. AWS, Azure, or GCP) and IaC tools like Terraform.
• Familiarity with metrics, logging, and tracing systems, such as Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on creating highly maintainable, scalable code.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable with iterative development, prototyping, and adapting quickly to feedback.
